If one thing has been made apparent since the start of the pandemic, it’s the thin veneer of civilised living that governs our society and our behaviour. I’m sure everyone at some point has been a victim to panic buying and as a result, have been unable to buy everyday essentials.
In our latest segment of “Money Minute,” I want to shred some light on the behaviour of the British public which worryingly, has extended to people reporting their neighbours who have been seen breaking the rules, which bears resemblance to the policies taken in Nazi Germany in the 1940’s, all the way to actively avoiding people in public due to the risk of the virus.
It’s time we strengthened civic society as a response to common threat. Let’s make an effort not to repeat past mistakes made by our predecessors.
